The 5 Skincare Rules to Follow

I am all about skincare, and these are the rules I follow no matter what!

Rule 1: Treat Your Skin
If you want to have fresh, healthy, vibrant-looking skin, then you have to use products to help cells turnover to reveal glowy looking skin. The products I like to use to encourage cell turnover are masks and exfoliators.

Rule 2: Wear SPF 30 or Higher
Sunscreens are products combining several ingredients that help prevent the sun’s radiation from reaching your skin. UV rays can cause damage even on cloudy days, so make sure you lather up.

Rule 3: Never Pick At Acne
When a pimple pops up on my face, I am always tempted to pick at it, but I’ve learned the hard way that it is just better to leave it alone. A blemish usually lasts about a week, but an acne scar can last for waaaay longer. This time when I have a blemish on my face, I just cleanse, apply the correct active ingredients, and leave it alone to heal.

Rule 4: Cleanse Smartly
When it comes to cleansing your face, it doesn’t matter if you’re using all the fancy, high-end products if they are not what your skin needs. Know your skin and yield to what it is asking for.

Rule 5: Moisturize, Moisturize, Moisturize
Always moisturize because a lack of it is often the reason for wrinkles, dullness, and even oiliness. As the skin on our body can also show signs of aging, keeping it properly moisturized will slow down the signs of aging.

What are the skincare rules that you follow?

Also, I am wanting to do a little Q and A post, so ask me your questions below.

XOXO,

    1. I was the same like you, thesilenthummer, but after just one week of following simple rules in skincare, I was more confident and even went out at shopping without makeup(which for me is a big deal). My skin looked better and better, fresh and healthy. It’s worth it to try and to do the little effort ! xoxo 🙂

  1. Indeed…not always the most expensive products will work for you.I have a sensitive and combination skin type and it took me couple years to find the best products. Its a mix of drug store and high end products, but works for me the best!!!Well done👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
