As the last days of spring is approaching, why not take advantage of the warm weather and cool breeze? I have put together a list of 10 things to lose yourself in this spring. Enjoy!
01 | Grow something you can eat.
Whether it be basil, rosemary, or herbs. If growing something something from a seed is too much, then buy a plant and water it and nurture it.
02 | Pick flowers.
Walk through your neighborhood or a local park and see how many shapes and colors of flowers you can collect. Don’t forget to stop and smell them, of course.
03 | Wash the car together.
While this may seem like a chore, it does not have to be. Spray each other with the hose (a must) and scrub along to your favorite songs.
04 | Go to a farmer’s market.
Take advantage of the comfortable morning temperatures and see what local farmers are offering. It might give you inspiration for new, fresh meals.
05 | Make a fruity dessert.
Skip the heavy desserts and opt for something fresh. Try pairing fresh fruit with whipped cream, ice cream, or yogurt.
06 | Have a picnic.
Gather some friends, pack some light meals, and chill out on a checkered blanket under the sun.
07 | Take a weekend trip.
You may be busy during the week, but the weekend is the perfect time for a trip. Pick a place you’ve always wanted to visit, grab your friends and hit the road.
08 | Ride a bike.
Instead of traveling by car, grab your bike and enjoy the weather. This is a great way for you to get your exercise in.
09 | Go for a hike.
In a day and age where technology can provide much entertainment, it is easy to forget the joy that the outdoor brings. If you live near some trails, start with short, easy routes and build up to longer hikes.
10 | Improve your photography skills.
Take advantage of the sunrise now that the days are getting longer. Spring landscapes are colorful and the new spring growth looks great against a blue sky.
